Man jailed for string of offences carried out in areas including Lichfield

A man has been jailed for a number of offences carried out across the Midlands, including in Lichfield.

A man has been jailed for a number of offences carried out across the Midlands, including in Lichfield.

Donny Hart, 42, of Sorrell in Tamworth, was sentenced to 34 months in prison for:

  • burglary of a newsagents
  • two counts of handling stolen car number plates
  • aggravated vehicle taking without the owner’s consent
  • two counts of dangerous driving
  • two counts of disqualified driving
  • three counts of driving without insurance
  • criminal damage

His crimes were carried out across Lichfield, Nuneaton and Tamworth.

 

Detective Inspector Dave Wain, from Staffordshire Police, said: “I am pleased he has been brought to justice.”
