Passengers using Lichfield Trent Valley station have suffered a morning of frustration.
Services on the West Coast Main Line ground to a halt earlier this morning after a power fault.
But some travellers hoping to make it to London Euston via Birmingham where then faced with delays due to a train fault on the cross-city line.
The West Coast Main Line finally re-opened at around 8.30am, but passengers are being advised to check before they travel due to knock-on delays.
