A motorcyclist has died after a crash in Burntwood.
His bike and a Vauxhall car were involved in the incident at 6pm yesterday (February 15) near the junction of Cannock Road and Cobbett Road.
The 31-year-old motorcyclist from Cannock died later in hospital.
A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: “His family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
“The road was closed for approximately four hours while collision investigators attended the scene.
“We are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or who was in the area at the time to get in touch.”
Witnesses are asked to ring Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 644 of 15 February.
