Lichfield is set to welcome the National Youth Choir of Great Britain.
Fresh from their critically acclaimed performance of Mahler’s 2nd Symphony Resurrection at the BBC proms, the choir will be performing at Lichfield Cathedral.
Under conductor Mike Brewer OBE, they will showcase works from their most recent CD releases The Baltic Sea and Mike Brewer’s World Tour and will also include an excerpt from their current recording project of the music of Gorecki.
The concert will mark the end of a week-long residential summer course, during which the choir will also perform at the Association of British Choral Directors (ABCD) conference in Birmingham Town Hall.
