A new cabinet member has taken up his post at Lichfield District Council.
Cllr Phil Whitehouse, Conservative representative for Little Aston and Stonnall, has taken on the parks and operational services portfolio.
The addition means that deputy leader Cllr Andy Smith’s area of responsibility will now be leisure and major projects.
The cabinet at the district council is now made up of eight members from the Conservative group.
