Chasetown FC’s game against Leek Town FC has been rearranged.
The Unibond League Division One clash will now take place at the Scholars Ground on April 7th after downpours caused the fixture to be postponed last night (March 30th).
A statement on the club’s website explained:
“Despite hard work throughout the day by groundsman Bob Brookes and his team of helpers, heavy showers fell on and off throughout the afternoon and referee Marc Perry opted to call the game off following an inspection.”
Chasetown will hope to return to action on Friday (April 2nd) when they entertain Sheffield FC in a 3pm kick-off at the Scholars Ground.
