People in Fazeley are being given the chance to find out when traffic is expected to be heavy heading through their area.

Drayton Manor Theme Park has launched a traffic alert system so residents can get text alerts when high levels of cars are expected.
Colin Bryan, the tourist attraction’s chief executive, said: “The new service is designed to help our neighbours be aware of potential congestion on local roads caused by our busiest days.
“We are also looking at various traffic calming measures with the county council and other highways authorities and have recently received planning permission from Lichfield District Council for improvements to our access drive, which will help to ease the situation going forward.”
People can sign up for alerts by texting DMP, along with their name and email address, to 80800. There will also be alerts on Twitter via @DMPTrafficNews.
