Olympian Ashia Hansen is set to appear at Lichfield’s Speakers’ Corner.
She will appear as part of a series of events to welcome the Olympic Flame to the city on June 30.
It will be the culimination of a series of People’s Saturday events taking place at 12noon each Saturday, starting on May 5.
Ashia Hansen’s visit will take place on the same day as a town criers competition which will see vocal efforts from competitors at 11am and 2pm.
