Changes have been announced to some bus services in Lichfield.
Arriva Midlands said the changes to routes and times would help meet demand and improve the accessibility of its services going forward.
From October 27:
- The X65 will see all buses operate via Boley Park instead of Upper St John Street.
- The 765, operating hourly Monday to Saturday, will travel via Upper St John Street instead of Boley Park.
Simon Mathieson, Area Managing Director for Arriva Midlands North: “Our intention with these changes is to build on our core routes and create a bus network that is as successful as it can be, which in turn will give us a good grounding from which to grow in the future.
“What we have done is to look at areas where we can improve operationally and make the necessary alterations which will not only better match supply with demand, but also ensure our customers are able to benefit from more punctual, reliable services, linking the areas they most need to get to, at the times they need to travel.”
