THE organisers of an annual Santa sleigh fundraiser have hailed a “record-breaking” festive season.
Lichfield Round Table said the 2025 edition saw almost £22,000 raised during a visit to neighbourhoods in and around Lichfield.
Now presentations have been made to charities and community groups during an event at Lichfield Sports Club.
Dan Simpson, chairman of Lichfield Round Table, said:
“While we’re often known for our social side, giving back to Lichfield and the surrounding communities is at the heart of what we do.
“Seeing the impact of the Santa Sleigh has been incredibly rewarding. It’s been a real honour to serve as chairman during such a record-breaking year and I couldn’t be prouder of our members, volunteers and supporters.”
