OVERHEAD line damage has caused major delays for passengers travelling between Lichfield and Birmingham.
Cross City Line services have been disrupted this afternoon (2nd July) due to the incident near Birmingham New Street.
In a post on social media, West Midlands Railway said:
“Most services are cancelled. Please use alternative transport sooner rather than later and before the evening peak if possible.”
Services are expected to be affected for the rest of the day.
