Photo finish as twin town camera clubs battle it out in annual competition

It was a real photo finish as members of Lichfield Camera Club battled it out with their counterparts from one of the city's twin towns.

IT was a real photo finish as members of Lichfield Camera Club battled it out with their counterparts from one of city's twin towns.

The annual contest with Foto Club Limburg saw a theme of Movement.

Two rounds of scoring were carried out by independent judges from England and Germany.

In the end, Lichfield ran out as winners by a single point.

A spokesperson said:

"Once again, the standard of images from both clubs was very high with Lichfield’s Robert Albutt scoring 38 points out of a maximum of 40 with his image Trusting to Luck and Steve Lee scoring 37 with his picture, Aprilia RS 600 Superbike.

"Limburg’s Reintraut Mangels of Limburg gained the top score of the competition with 39 points for his image, Red Speed."
