A LOCAL photographer is preparing to run the London Marathon to support research into ovarian cancer.

The mother-of-three, from Kings Bromley, will take to the streets of the capital for the event on 26th April.

She will run in aid of Ovarian Cancer Action.

Sarah said

“I lost my mum to ovarian cancer 35 years ago. I have always said I would run the London Marathon in her name for Ovarian Cancer Action and I am finally doing it.

“It’s a cause that is very close to my heart and I am hugely proud of being selected to run the London Marathon the charity.

“If I can help even one woman receive an earlier diagnosis and treatment, all this pain will be worth it.”

People can support Sarah’s fundraising efforts via an online JustGiving page.
