A new commercial development could be created in Lichfield.
Plans have been drawn up for the new 2,000 square metre site on land off the Birmingham Road.
The site runs alongside the cross city line railway adjacent to the island linking the Birmingham Road to Falkland Road.
The proposals submitted to Lichfield District Council’s planning committee are for a three storey and a two storey building with car parking facilities.
The submission also says the development would “safeguard” land for the new Lichfield southern bypass and the route of the restored Lichfield Canal.
