Lichfield could be getting a new bakery if plans are approved.

Proposals have been drawn up to change the use of the former Dixons estate agents unit at 19 Bore Street.
Permission is being sought to operate a restaurant and cafe alongside the new Bore Street Bakery business.
The Grade II listed building has been empty since the estate agents moved to new premises in the city.
A statement supporting the application said changes to the building would be acceptable given the history of the building.
“It is considered that the new external alterations will have minimal impact on the building and locality,” the statement said.
Full details are available on Lichfield District Council’s planning website.
