Police are trying to trace motorcyclists who knocked a young boy off his bike in Chasetown.
The incident happened at 5.20pm on October 1 after a family had been cycling around Chasewater and were approaching a right-hand bend at the junction of Pool Road and the Burntwood Bypass.
The five-year-old boy was at the front of the group when three men on off-road motorcycles came around the corner at speed. The youngster was in collision with one of the motorcyclists and as a result fell off his bicycle.
The trio of motorcyclists did not pass over their details and left the scene, riding towards Norton Pool Way.
The rider involved in the collision was on a white Yamaha off-road motorcycle with no registration plates. He is described as white, aged approximately 25, 5ft 7in tall with a large build and short, brown hair. He was wearing grey-coloured jogging bottoms and white trainers. The two other riders were on a red quad bike and a green Kawasaki off-road motorcycle.
