A MAN has been charged with robbery and weapon offences in Tamworth.
It comes after police investigation into incidents in the area, including an attempted robbery at a business on Masefield Drive in Leyfields, on 25th July and a robbery at a newsagents in Stoneydelph on 26th August.
Ricky Cudworth, 42, of Tamworth, has been charged with robbery, attempted robbery, possessing an imitation firearm and possession of a knife in a public place.
He appeared at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on 19th September and has been remanded ahead of his next hearing due at Stafford Crown Court on 23rd October.
