Police are hunting two men who threatened staff during an early morning robbery at a shop in Chase Terrace.
Neither of the staff members were injured during the incident which happened at the Co-op store on Bridge Cross Road around 7am yesterday (December 5).
Officers are now appealing for help from members of the public who may have been out and about in the area around the time of the robbery.
The two men got into the shop through a rear entrance and fled with a quantity of cash in a blue Citroen Saxo stolen from outside the store. The vehicle was later found abandoned just a few hundred metres away in nearby Sycamore Road.
