PREPARATIONS are underway for the return of the Lichfield Proms in Beacon Park.
The annual free evening of live music will take place on 6th September.
It will feature performances by The City of Lichfield Concert Band and the British Police Symphony Orchestra, with the night capped off by a fireworks finale.
As well as free admission, people can also book reserved seating, deck chair hire, gazebo pitches and on-site parking.
Cllr Phil Whitehouse, Lichfield District Council’s cabinet member for operational services, parks and waste, said:
“Lichfield Proms in Beacon Park is one of the highlights of our calendar – a chance for the whole community to come together, enjoy wonderful live music and make special memories in a beautiful setting.
“We’re proud to offer this event free of charge to the public, but that’s only possible thanks to the support of our sponsors, volunteers and donations on the evening.
“I’d encourage everyone to secure their spot and get involved in what promises to be another fantastic night.”
