Security guards have foiled an attempted burglary in Chase Terrace.
The raiders were spotted loading up a red Ford Transit van with barrels at the Chasetown Industrial Estate on Cannel Road just after 8.30pm on Sunday (February 5).
But they were spotted by the guards who then blocked in the van before seeing two suspects climbing over a fence.
A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: “Officers attended and a search of the immediate area was conducted but without success.
“The transit van was recovered and is now subject to forensic investigation.”
