A LOCAL restaurant is giving a boost to a group for adults with learning disabilities.

Friends2Friends has recently warned it could be forced to close due to concerns over funding.

But now The Potting Shed at The Plant Plot in Lichfield is using the launch of a new Supper Club to help support the charity.

Starting on 8th July, it will run every Tuesday with a different three-course menu every week – with £5 from each £22.50 meal going to Friends2Friends.

The first edition will see a starter of tomato and basil soup with herb croutons and a main of either roast loin of pork or vegetable and nut roast with cider cream sauce and season vegetables. Dessert is vanilla cheesecake with a summer berry compote.
