Passengers have been experiencing a morning of delays after sheep were hit by a train near Lichfield.
Services were delayed earlier today (July 22) after getting onto the West Coast Main Line.
Virgin Trains said initially that the animals had been returned to a nearby field, but they later returned and were hit by train.
Services on the line were affected for around an hour-and-a-half.
