A Shenstone garden centre says it has taken a number of steps to allow an in-store restaurant to reopen.
Dobbies Garden Centre reopened to visitors in May, but the food and drink area of the shop remained closed.
But the facility will reopen from Saturday (4th July) after steps including a new socially-distanced layout and additional cleaning measures were introduced.
Graeme Jenkins, CEO of Dobbies, said:
“Following the successful re-opening of our garden centre on 13th May, we are well-placed to restart our restaurant operations.
“The safety of our team members and customers remains Dobbies number one priority, which is why we have introduced the new role of Safety Champion – not only do we want customers to feel safe, but we want them to have an enjoyable experience.
“We look forward to welcoming customers back into our Shenstone restaurant and would like to thank our team members and customers for following the measures we have implemented.”

Other measures include the installation of screens at tills and PPE provided for staff.
