Shenstone Pathfinder FC’s assistant manager believes the early signs are good after his side beat Wyrley Juniors 3-1.
A Dale Anderson double and a goal from Tim Travers earned the victory in their West Midlands Regional League Division One clash.
And despite not being at their best, assistant boss Gary Cantelo believes was pleased to pick up the points.
He said:
“We weren’t at our best – we probably played better last week in defeat, but it was great to see the players battle for the victory and its a good sign if you can win when not at your best.”
Pathfinder entertain Bridgnorth Town Reserves next Saturday (August 21) at Shenstone, kick off 3pm.
