Train services are being disrupted at Lichfield Trent Valley after a signalling fault.
No cross city line trains have been calling at the station this morning (January 7) because of the issue.
Operator London Midland has put road replacement services in place between Trent Valley and Lichfield City while engineers work to resolve the fault.
The line between the two stations is likely to remain shut until 2pm.
