More than 150 people have been arrested as part of a Staffordshire Police crackdown.
The Operation Impact initative saw officers targeting those involved in serious acquisitive crime.
Of the 155 arrests during the six-day crackdown, 41 were for serious acquisitive crime and 53 were for drug offences. The arrests led to 41 charges and 51 people being released on police bail while further inquiries are carried out.
Thirty vehicles were also seized in roadside operations in a clampdown on illegal motorists.
Assistant Chief Constable Julian Blazeby said: “I’m very pleased with the results of Operation Impact’s six days of action.
“We identified individuals before the week who were then targeted across the county and Stoke-on-Trent, leading to some really positive arrests and charges.
“In addition, there was some excellent crime prevention activity aimed at reducing the number of victims and reported offences.
“Our partners played a key role and we will continue to work with colleagues to deal with the issues that matter to our communities.
“Impact is building on the good work that has already seen acquisitive crime rates fall across Staffordshire. We will now use the momentum of last week’s activity to continue to detect and reduce crime and make our communities even safer.”
