CELEBRATIONS have taken place at King Edward VI School as students collected their GCSE results.
Pupils and staff gathered at the school from 9am, marking the culmination of years of study and the start of next steps into Sixth Form, further education and apprenticeships.
Headteacher Catharine Forster praised the dedication of students. She said:
"We are incredibly proud of our students for their commitment and hard work. We are delighted that many of the students will be remaining with us, and are also looking forward to hearing about the next steps of students going to colleges and apprenticeships."
