A NEW support group for parents struggling with perinatal mental health issues is launching in Lichfield.

The first PANDAS Foundation session takes place from 7pm to 8pm on 4th August at Lichfield Family Hub on Purcell Avenue. It will then run at the same time on the first and third Monday of every month.

It will be run by a trained volunteer from the charity and offer support for parents.

A spokesperson said:

“This is a safe, non-judgmental, free space where attendees can share how they’re feeling and connect with others who truly understand.

“It’s not clinical care or therapy – we don’t diagnose or offer professional advice, but we do offer a vital sense of understanding, hope, free signposting resources and emotional support for those who may otherwise feel isolated.”

The sessions are free to attend. For more details visit pandasfoundation.org.uk/groups/lichfield-pandas or email lichfieldpandasgroup@gmail.com.
