The Rockin’ Berries’ Silver Threads and Golden Tonsils tour will stop off at the Lichfield Garrick.
Following last year’s successful 50th anniversary tour the band have hit the road again with music and memories from that wonderful rock ’n’ roll era of the late fifties and swingin’ sixties.
Band members, Chuck, Geoff, Rick and Simon will be playing all the Rockin’ Berries smash hits in the city on October 5, including He’s in Town, Poor Man’s Son and The Water is Over My Head, as well as Geoff’s solo hits Colour of My Love and Baby Take Me in Your Arms.
The evening will also feature Roy Wood compositions, such as Flowers in the Rain, See My Baby Jive and California Man from Rick’s days with The Move and Wizzard.
If that’s not enough, there will also be classics from artists such as Buddy Holly, Little Richard, The Big O, The Beach Boys, and Chuck Berry.
