A consultation on the future of rail travel in Staffordshire is reaching the end of the line.
Lichfield and Burntwood residents only have until November 4 to have their say online.
Hundreds have already completed the survey which will help shape the future of services and provide ideas for the future of railways in the region.
Staffordshire County Councillor, Mark Winnington, Cabinet Member for Economy and Infrastructure ,said:
“The response to the consultation has been extremely positive and I would like to thank those who have taken the time to complete the survey,” said Staffordshire County Councillor Mark Winnington.
“We have started working through the hundreds of responses received so far and are seeing some extremely constructive points which will be very useful as we develop our Rail Strategy.
“Our vision for Staffordshire is for a connected county and a key element of this is a sustainable and efficient rail network which supports economic growth and prosperity. Feedback from residents is vital, and I would ask people to please complete the survey to help us make this a reality.”
The results of the survey will be fed into a wider Staffordshire Rail Strategy and used to help plan future rail travel provision for the county.
