TRIBUTES have been paid following the death of a former councillor.
Rod Campbell served on both Burntwood Town Council and Lichfield District Council.
Cllr Sue Woodward, Labour group leader at the district council, said:
“Rod was a truly good and honourable man.
“May he rest in peace and his family find comfort in the record of his exemplary public service at this sad time.”
As well as serving on both councils, Mr Campbell was also a former chair of the town council.
A spokesperson for Burntwood Town Council said:
“Rest in peace Rod. Thank you for all you did for Burntwood.”
