Two cars have been stolen from a house in Lichfield.
They were taken after raiders forced their way into a house in Henderson Close using a spade and stole the keys to the vehicles.
The distinctive pale blue 11 plate Mini One convertible and silver 10 plate Honda CR-V estate were taken between 10.30am and 2pm on Wednesday (August 29).
It is not yet known if anything else was stolen during the break-in, which is the latest in a spate of burglaries in the area which detectives believe to be linked due to the repeated use of gardening tools to force entry.
DC Ed Rowe, investigating officer, said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have any information on the whereabouts of these vehicles to come forward.
“It is possible these vehicles may have had the registration plates changed but the mini is quite distinctive so we want to here from anyone who may have seen it in the area or the wider region.
“An extensive and detailed investigation into this burglary, along with others in the area, is ongoing and we are determined to catch those responsible.”
