AN MP has praised volunteers after a local library celebrated its 50th anniversary.
Barton-under-Needwood Library has been community managed for the past decade.
The venue currently plays host to a range of sessions, including sessions for children and craft workshops.
Lichfield MP Dave Robertson said:
“This is a huge milestone for Barton-under-Needwood Library, which is run on a day‑to‑day basis by a team of volunteers.
“It was great to visit and celebrate the occasion.”
