Walk to explore the history of Lichfield’s first local nature reserve

Published:

Lichfield’s first local nature reserve will be celebrated on a walk across the site.

Visitors will be able to learn about the history of Christian Fields and the wildlife it is home to at a walk led by Lichfield District Council biodiversity officer Chris Walsh on February 13.

Chris said:

“I hope lots of people will join me to find out about the horrible history and beautiful nature of Christian Fields. It’s a really interesting site that’s full of animals and plants, and this should be an enjoyable and informative walk. Please wrap up warm and wear suitable footwear.”

The walk will take place from 10.30am to noon, costs £2 and can be booked by emailing denice.deverall@lichfielddc.gov.uk or calling 01543 308183.
