JRR Tolkien’s links to Great Haywood will be explored on a walking tour.
Ridware History Society will host a stroll on June 17.
A spokesperson said: “Dave Robbie will lead a walking tour, pointing
out places associated with JRR Tolkien’s residence in Great Haywood as well as more general local history.”
The walk – which costs £3.50 – will meet at 7pm on the far side of the Essex Bridge, near the entrance to Shugborough.
