People are being urged to to be on their guard after a series of shed and home raids in the region.
Houses in Lichfield, Cannock Chase and Stafford have been targeted by raiders who have broken into secure sheds and used stolen tools to force entry into owner’s homes.
A spokesperson said: “Residents are reminded to keep their outbuildings and homes secure at all times and report any suspicious activity to police.”
