A new musical set at the time of the Dunkirk evacuations is coming to the Lichfield Garrick.
MadCap Theatre Productions presents Laurie Hornsby’s Postcards from the Seaside on June 27.
A spokesperson said: “Wireless star Lester Duvall is the new act in town, and while he would rather be at a big London theatre, Thanet seems as a good as place as any to escape conscription.
“But, when his tangled web of deception begins to unravel and he finds something, and someone, worth sticking around for, the normally indecisive and immature Lester faces decisions that could affect everything he holds dear.”
