What’s on at the Lichfield Festival – July 11

Lichfield Cathedral’s Lady Chapel will be the perfect setting for young soloist Alexandra Dariescu.

The Romanian performer will make her Lichfield Festival appearance at noon.

Elsewhere, the Crooked Fiddle Band’s folk sounds will be at the Garrick Studio at 8pm.

Legendary film producer Lord Puttnam will deliver the Lichfield Lecture at 7pm at the Cathedral, before his classic movie Chariots of Fire plays at the Guildhall at 9.30pm.

The musical talents of Brass Jaw feature in the Cathedral’s Lady Chapel at 10pm, while a songwriting workshop will take place at the Guildhall at 5pm.

Younger Festival visitors will be able to take a jungle search through songs, stories and games at the Guildhall at 10am and 11.30am.
