A woman has been cut from her car after an accident near Lichfield.
Firefighters were called to the scene of the two-car accident on the Chester Road in Stonnall at 7.30am this morning (October 13).
Station manager Ian Dawson said:
“Firefighters had to remove the roof from one of the cars to free a female casualty who was trapped inside by spinal injuries.”
The driver of the other vehicle had got out of the car before the arrival of the fire service. Both casualties were taken to hospital by ambulance.
