A YOUNG Lichfield City Cycling Club rider is celebrating success after the final round of a racing event.
The Neil Lawford Youth Series finale took place at Curborough Sprint Circuit.
Across the season, 300 entrants from 34 clubs have taken part across a range of a age groups, with the trophy awarded to the most consistent rider.
This year it was awarded to under-eight age group competitor Xavier Giddings from Lichfield City Cycling Club after he narrowly pipped Wolverhampton Wheelers' under-ten rider Benjamin Stephens.
