A new tennis club is set to serve up a treat to celebrate its official opening.
Alrewas Tennis Club will welcome Blue Peter presenter Radzi Chinyanganya for the event on Sunday (May 31).
There will also be a traditional village fete on offer with a range of entertainment on offer.
A spokesperson said: “Come and test your strength or try and outwit our bunko booth rickster.
“There will also be clog dancers, spoon players, ice cream carts and traditional sweet stalls – there’s something for everyone.”
The club will also hold fun tennis coaching sessions during the day.
The event starts at 11am with the ribbbon being cut at 1pm. The club is based at Alrewas Cricket Club, Walkfield, DE13 7EW.
