GCSE students at a girls school near Lichfield are celebrating after more than 86 per cent of them secured at least five A* to C grades.
As well as the traditional exams, there were also pupils at Abbots Bromley School studying dance and Chinese – subjects which saw 100 per cent pass rates.
The school’s executive head, Victoria Musgrave, said: “I could not be happier with the dramatic improvement in results at Abbots Bromley over the last two years.
“Very many congratulations to our hardworking staff, our very supportive parents, and most importantly to our girls who have worked conscientiously to achieve these stunning results. To be executive head of this fine school is indeed a privilege.”
