An unbeaten 73 from Ahsan Khan helped Whittington to a five wicket win over Highcroft and Great Barr.
Habib Khan’s 3-22 and Farah Ahmed’s 4-21 with the ball saw Whittington rattle through the visiting innings as they were all out for 127.
The reply from the hosts saw an early wobble as Euan Hammond was caught and bowled by Rizwan Gulzar without troubling the scoring – and they then slipped to 35-3.
But Khan’s unbeaten 73 from 65 balls helped guide Whittington past the target with just 28.1 overs bowled.
