AN Alrewas author has published two new books drawing on inspiration from local villages.
Liz Vincent has released Motiveless Murder and Conflicting Cases.
The books are part of her Hardcastle and Young series featuring two detectives working to tackle local murders.
Liz said that as well as basing some of her works in the villages surrounding Lichfield, she also uses residents for inspiration.
“A few of the characters in both novels have been based on real people, but the names have been changed to protect the guilty – and innocent.
“I can only hope no-one will recognise themselves.”
Having previously worked as a medical secretary, Liz has spent her retirement publsihing novels.
