Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a burglary at a home in Lichfield.
Two men entered a house in Copperfields between 10.45am and 12.10pm on Monday (September 17) via an insecure first floor window.
They stole cash and items of jewellery including watches, gold bracelets, rings and necklaces, before they were disturbed by a neighbour and ran off.
The offenders are described as two white men aged in their early 20s, around 5ft 10ins tall with slim builds. Both wore pale jeans and dark jackets or hoodies.
This incident is believed to be linked to a recent spate of burglaries in the area where garden tools were used to gain entry.
A 45-year-old Lichfield man was arrested today in connection with this spate of burglaries and remains in police custody for questioning.
