Approval for planned improvements at local fast-food outlet

PLANS for improvements at a local McDonald's branch have been approved.

The fast-food outlet at Wall is proposing to refurbish the external of the building as well as refreshing the patio area.

A planning statement said:

"The application relates to a simple refurbishment, with a new bin store introduced to improve the overall management of waste.

"The patio are is to be refurbished with new table tops and minor configuration, with the introduction of a new jumbo umbrella.

"The overall development will ensure that the store is updated to ensure that it remains sustainable. The external changes, while minimal, have been included in line with a larger internal refurbishment."
