Pupils from a Lichfield school have been presented with a prize for the creation of a special window display for Heaven Scent florists in the city centre.
The Maple Hayes Dyslexia School display, on the theme of Christmas wishes, was part of a competition arranged by Lichfield Chamber of Trade which saw six shops have their windows dressed by six different schools.
Richard Lewis, president of the chamber, presented a certificate and prize to Maple Hayes pupils Gemma Bailey and Lucas Goodwin-Jones.
“All of the windows were beautifully done,” said Mr Lewis. “Clearly a lot of thought and effort had gone into them, with not a single Santa in sight!
“It’s good to get Lichfield traders working with young people and we are grateful for their participation.”
