Those affected by dementia, their family and carers have the opportunity to enjoy a free Christmas party at the Burntwood Alzheimer Café run by Carers Association South Staffordshire (CASS).
The Café, which visits several locations across south Staffordshire including Burntwood, brings those living with dementia and their carers together to share their experiences over a drink and bite to eat.
The event takes place at Burntwood Scout Hut on December 17 from 12 noon to 2pm.
Those who attend the Café can expect a friendly welcome on arrival and will have the opportunity to get to know others, share experiences and also enjoy live entertainment from Kate’s Party.
Alzheimer Café Coordinator Debbie Hill said:
“The café is an excellent opportunity for those affected by dementia to socialise, make new friends and talk with professionals in a relaxed environment. I look forward to meeting both new and old members at the December Café.”
CASS have issued an open invitation to new and existing members of the café to attend the event.
