A DARTS event in Burntwood has raised more than £1,000 for charity.
Claire Brown and Stewart Lawrence organised the 12-hour arrows marathon at The Firs as players were challenged to clock up a total score of 100,000.
The event was organised in aid of Alzheimer’s UK in memory of Claire’s nan, Joyce, who had dementia.
A spokesperson said:
“It was an amazing event which saw lots of people go along and throw darts, some for the first time.”
