A BURNTWOOD councillor has been handed a cabinet role at Staffordshire County Council.
Cllr Robin Hall, Reform UK representative for Burntwood South will take on the economy and skills portfolio.
He steps into the role after previous occupant Cllr Martin Murray became leader following the resignation of Cllr Chris Large from the post.
A Staffordshire County Council spokesperson said:
“Robin brings to the role more than 30 years of international board-level experience and has served as chair of the pension committee, vice-chair of the charities and trusts committee and chair of the overview and scrutiny committee at the council.”
Cllr Hall was elected to the county council in May 2025.
